UPS will carry tubing up to 7 feet long. Because the dimensions of the material shipped will generally be greater than the actual weight, cut steel typically ships at the dimensional weight, depending upon the amount and length ordered. Tubing in excess of 7 foot lengths will ship by truck freight, up to a maximum length of 20 feet. However, any lengths over 15 feet will incur an additional $45.00 excessive-length charge.
